Argument Research

Right now we are talking about the argument research paper in class. On Tuesday we were taking notes on how the paper should be written. Even though this essay follows the same criteria as all the other essays we have written all year long: it must have a clear thesis, body paragraphs to support your thesis, and a conclusion. Although the only difference that is crucial for this essay is to add information that we find in our research to support our opinion as well as the apposing side and cite it correctly. But the only problem I have with this essay is finding a topic that is interesting enough with good information that can be found. Althoug there are a few topics I have in mind which are medical records should they be open to closed adoption children and their new parents, but still keeping the biological parents names a secreat, should the somking ban also include non resturant establishments, military establishments like the VFW and the Legion, and establishments that promote smoking such as JT Cigaros, when soldiers come home from the war do they get adequate mental medical exams before and after they are reintegrated into the community. These are my possible topics to write about, but which one should I choose is still a problem. Besides which topic to choose from that is all we have learned in class this week so far.
